Ibrahim Hemeida
Ibrahim Hemeida is the Managing Partner of Trustcore Consultancy.
He is a successful banker and investment professional with over 20 years experience in the MENA region.In 2010, he joined the start-up team of a leading UAE based regional bank and quickly became a significant contributor to its success. He later played a key leadership role with the team that turned around the private banking business of another established UAE based bank. Over the last 10 years, Ibrahim originated, advised and managed more than AED 6 Billion in private and institutional client assets and consulted on family governance, corporate and family offices architecture.
Prior to moving to the UAE, he worked for 10 years at a number of highly reputed financial institutions in Egypt where he held the roles of director of investments, senior portfolio manager and chief dealer. During this period, Ibrahim was also engaged in setting up the investment management unit of major banking group and advised on private equity transactions in the entertainment, financial, retail and
marine services sectors.
Ibrahim worked with international and regional banks such as UBS AG, Emirates NBD, and Mashreq Bank in the UAE in addition to Prime Investments, Arab African International Bank, and Concord International Investments in Egypt.
Ibrahim is a CFA Charter holder and received his MBA from City University London Sir John Cass Business School in 2014. He is a Certified Private Equity Specialist from the American Academy of Financial Management and qualified in Project Management from the University of Cambridge in addition to passing the required certification program for Investment Managers in the UAE by “SCA” The Securities and Commodities Authority and the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority “FINMA” wealth management. He is also a Certified Life Coach and fluent in French, English, Arabic with basic knowledge of the Russian language.
